Detect pasted vs. typed text, and don't wrap the former

Try to come up with some heuristic for text being pasted into the editwin as opposed to typed, and don't wrap it if it's pasted

Make Jabber work more like IRC work more like AIM. Maybe unify the notion of an "account" across all of them.
